Dear readers,
At the moment I have nothing meaningful to say on the musical subjects, but want to say I appreciate having readers whether you leave comments or not, and doubly appreciate the comments with suggestions, astute culturological analysis, or shares. Below is some of the excellent stuff posted lately throughout the blog in comments:

The Wrigglers: Sing Calypso at the Arawak (1958) with the great Ernest Ranglin on guitar at the Easy Jams blog (original vinyl rips and great commentary)

Yuko Ikoma - Moisture with Music Box (2008) - Eric Satie on a music box, very surprising and effective readings of his music, on Hypnagogic Travels

Olivier Messian - Les Corps Glorieux (Organ Works III) - "kinda cosmic stuff, very deep and unusual" - in FLAC, thanks to Symbolkid!

  1. love your it ALL THE TIME!!

  2. thanks for the plug. hope you start posting again soon

  3. You blog is awesome.
But... well, megaload is down recently and quite a lot of internet resources disappeared. That's quite disappointing.
Also, maybe you like some ideas for new posts? I'd recommend you to expand the classical section, if you are interested. And here is something from the genre that may interest you: Erik Satie and his gnossiennes. Or maybe you can have some fun and look for some remixes using classical music.

  4. Hi, thanks for your comment. I have no plans to go through and reupload everything, but I will reup specific requests - already did a few.
Thanks for the suggestions. I actually posted some Satie before:
I am not short on ideas for postings, just sort of have a writer's block and also busy IRL...

  5. Great blog. Thank you for those rarities. I really appreciate your work. I hope you start posting again soon :)
