These were the reels used to press the stamper that produced the old vinyl 78s [...] Music as unique as the city in its golden era, a mixture of Eastern and Western influences, blues, jazz, traditional Chinese opera and folk music. 3. Seems you're in mistake about the info, because you're mixing two different albums, Shanghai Lounge Divas Volume 1 and 2; they aren't both the same thing, nor the same songs neither the original musician (Ian Widgery)...but, just give a try, chinese oldies are still beautiful stuff.

  4. I never menat to say there are the same.
Vol.1 has modern remixes by Ian Widgery.
Vol.2 has the original recordings that were used for remixes on Vol.1 and also some extra tunes as a bonus.

  5. Anyway you're showing the front cover from Shanghai's Lounge Divas Volume 2! (the grey pic), a different one from the double cd Volume One, including both the remixed and the original recordings by Ian Widgery...that's the mistake.
