Leeching from Jazzymusic again - what a great resource!
Yesterday's Rumba Congolaise is a modern re-recording of the classic Afro-Rumba hits by the contemporary Congo bands. This one is the original stuff from the 60's. I think these are the CDs that come with the book Rumba on the River: A History of the Popular Music of the Two Congos.
